These two photos are of a thunderstorm over Fordham on Monday 09/08/04, and show an unusual wave-like formation ahead of the main rain cloud. The system was moving north at about 10 knots, visibly changing shape as it went. There were fairly frequent flashes of lightning and a short period of heavy rain.
