Great news - especially for those of you learning to fly & not yet solo.
Now up and running !! A system of weekend bookable flying aimed at ab-initio (not yet solo) pilots is now available.
Now included on our web site is a page in which you can reserve an instructional session. The sessions will be either morning or afternoon and will be based on two students per instructor/glider.
The morning students will be expected to be here early to unpack the hangar & DI gliders etc., and together with their Duty Instructor get the day off to a 'flying start'.
The afternoon students will be expected to be here to help pack the hangar etc. at the end of the day.
We would expect students to only book one session per day, BUT if a couple of days before the session there are still slots available then a second slot could be booked.
At that time post-solo pilots would also be able to book sessions for further training.
There will be no extra charge for this facility but to keep the system fair/open etc. a charge of £10 will be levied for any 'no-shows' or very late cancellations.
